Welcome! Thank you so much for being here. I truly appreciate everyone that reads the words I’ve written.
First and foremost, I am a Child of the One True King, striving to live a life wholly committed to Him in all that I do.
I’m often found at a local coffee shop, sipping on sweet coffee and enjoying conversation with a close friend, or typing away on my laptop, a new story making its way to the page. Reading is one of my favorite things to do, and in my downtime I enjoy a book, a cup of hot tea on the table beside me , and Maple, our miniature goldendoodle, curled in my lap. I also love to bless others through my baking – the sourdough starter on my counter agrees. I currently live near Tulsa, Oklahoma, but am originally from eastern Virginia. Road trips home with my husband and Maple bring me so much joy, and seeing my family brings even more happiness to my life.
The goal in my writing is to create stories of redemption, showcasing beauty that comes from the ashes of life. I believe with everything within me that the Lord brings beautiful stories from each of our broken ones. His redemption and love has marked my life in more ways than one, and I’m so thankful that He is allowing me to show that to the world.
In 2025, I entered my story “Ashes to Light” into the foundation awards competition at the Blue Ridge Mountains Christian Writers Conference and was honored when my story placed first place in the flash fiction category.
